'Everyone in line immediately started laughing at her': Entitled customer throws a fit after realizing she has to wait in line like everyone else

Kids sometimes have major meltdowns when they have to wait for what they want, and even some grown adults never outgrow that phase of their life. No one likes to wait in line, whether you're queuing up to buy a meal, purchase a ticket, or buy some new clothes. But lines are pretty necessary at most stores, of course. There'd be a lot of fighting going down if there was no set of rules in place. 

While the reason for lining up seems obvious and fairly simple to most of us, this entitled woman didn't care for that. U/Luciferbelle shared their story to r/retailh*ll, stating that the incident took place at a small retail location on a rather busy day. Check out the entire story below.     Font - Today, we were pretty busy, it being the last day of our sale. So I had a good bit of a line going. A woman walked into the door and just stood there and didn't say anything. Just watched me. I looked up and said, "Are you returning or exchanging?" She told me she wanted to exchange her product. I said, "Go ahead and grab what you need, hop in line, and I'll do the exchange for you."

    Font - She got so ped off a our him not siding with her she just got a refund, and said she wouldn't shop here anymore. I've never been to any retailer that just lets you skip the line, just because you have a return. It was so weird.

I was the front end supervisor which is a fancy way of saying main cashier, I would get people starting their own lines until I would have to shout "there is only one line, the first cashier available will help the next customer" and all the old people would give me "the look" as they shuffled into single file.     Font - Flibiddy-Floo reminds me of the time I was working a drive-thru and this lady had a million questions about the menu right in front of her face, and I eventually suggested she read the menu and let me know when she's ready. She squeals, "YOU EXPECT ME TO BE ABLE TO READ?!?!" "Yes! I'll give you a moment to make your decision!"     Font - loCAtek We're also a really small gas station food mart, and I can't believe the number of people who just stick their head in the door and yell at you that they need a receipt for pump #0. I'll reply, "Just a minute please, I'm with someone." Granted, a receipt is quick and easy to print out... if the register isn't already in use. Do they think I'm not only going to let them cut in line, but I'll stop and cancel a transaction I'm already in the middle of, in order to cater to them!? Smh

    Font - xalleyxcatx I bet they called customer service to complain. I work at a retail in call center, and I can't tell you how many people contact us to complain about this exact issue. I'm just like, what do you want us to do if they were busy? Lol. I just tell them I'll forward the complaint. People are dumb.

    Font - Thepatrone36 Similar situation for me at Dollar General the other day. There was a line for self checkout and another for the lady running the register. This dude comes in, grabs something, and walks right to the front of the line. Being the lovely a that I can be and I was already annoyed at the two people in SCO that had alcohol and DG (at least the one near me) requires ID for everyone so the poor cashier was bouncing back and forth slowing things down for everybody I looked the guy in

    Font - He gives me a blank stare and I said 'there's a line and this aint the back of it... go stand in line like a decent person should'. He didn't like it, I don't care, and he went and stood in line like a good little boy should. I almost wish he'd have mouthed off. I don't like people like that at all.
